The program of the building includes both work and play. It contains 6000 sf of private, rentable office space; a flexible performance hall; and open seating and walking areas that can be used as public workspace during the day, or as additional seating for the performance hall in the evenings.
The private workspaces are formally separated into three tall volumes, providing quiet and still moments for people inside while diverting the flow of activity surrounding them. The performance hall provides a central focal point, and acts to expand the scale of spaces around it visually.
Finally, the form of the ramped walkways and flexible seating are defined as the negative space between the workspace and performance hall venues, bridging the programmatic gap between the two.
